The stands are made of 1/8" Maple wood. There is a spot for the cord to fit easily underneath to plug in for charging. No glue is required as all pieces fit perfectly together and can be easily taken apart for storage or travel.

This is really beautiful but unfortunately it is on the thin and smaller side. That’s mostly my fault since I didn’t give it much thought until I had it in my hands. The only other thing is the slot on the large piece where the smaller piece slides into, wasn’t quite uniform. Some were smaller and some were larger. This meant that some pieces slid in very easily with room to spare while others you had to really force and push in. And once they were in, they wouldn’t come back out. With all that being said, for the price and the craftsmanship, these are still beautiful and still worth purchasing. In my opinion.

One was printed incorrectly but she was quick to fix. They were a great little gift for coworkers but I would say that the cost reflects the type of product. These are smaller and thin wood. So just keep that in mind.
