Meet the Artist:
During the first year of COVID in 2020, I deployed while in the military and knew it would be important to stay in touch with my family and friends to make sure they knew how I was doing. Being on a ship the best way to communicate with loved ones was through email and I created a weekly email newsletter called, "Stories From the Sea". Through writing I was able to stay connected with my loved ones but most importantly, it taught me how to connect with myself. This would lead to the creation of the writing project, The Write Mixtape. It is a space where I share my writings that I hope to inspire, provoke, or at least make you laugh. With the metal print art collection of my personal poetry and photography, I hope to help you find your message that connects with you.
